The driveway to Buffalo River Retreat. |

Buffalo River Retreat on a foggy morning. Twenty private
acres give you seclusion from neighbors and roads. |

Upper deck |

The front steps to the upper deck. |

The upper (open) deck is about 600 sq. ft and affords
a lovely view in all directions. It is furnished with
chairs, tables, and umbrellas. |

The huge yard area has room for all sorts of outside activities
like volleyball, badminton, horse shoes, croquet, baseball
or football. |
Too hot/cold/wet/dry for your planned outdoor activities?
No problem. There is plenty of room to spread out.
Buffalo River Retreat has satellite TV upstairs and downstairs
(different receivers, so everyone doesn't have to watch the
same program), VCRs, DVD players, and stereos so you
can enjoy the entertainment you want. There are also books,
games and other supplies for indoor activities, helping
to keep everyone happy.
The Vintage decor includes original artwork. Most
of the items are for sale. If there is something you like
you can purchase it and take it home with you as a reminder
of your stay at the Retreat.

The Retreat features a fully equipped full sized kitchen
with full sized new appliances. |

Here in the main living room area is a fireplace, a couch,
a rocking chair, two easy chairs, a cathedral ceiling,
loads of windows and nice panoramic views of the meadow, creek
and woods. |

This bedroom features a wooden queen sized Jenny Lind
bed. |

This is the Master bedroom, with a full sized private
bath and queen sized bed.
The beds are all new with luxury linens and there are
three bathrooms in the Retreat.
|

The drive up lower level includes a huge multipurpose
room, a bathroom, full laundry facility, and satellite
TV. The multipurpose room can be used as additional sleeping
area(s). |

The dining area has a large table that seats six comfortably.
The sofa is a (comfortable) hide-a-bed.
Central heat and air conditioning will keep you warm or
cool no matter what the weather is. |

Lower patio looking toward the front yard and driveway.
The lower patio area is covered by the upper deck, with
tables, chairs, and grills that are both charcoal and
gas. |

Lower patio looking toward the back yard.
This patio is great if you don't want to be in the sunlight,
or it happens to be raining. |

This is part of the view from the deck. |

A little spring fed pond is stocked with bream. Catch
and release fishing is allowed. |

Here is the church from a closer vantage point. |
There is an
enormous barbecue pit down by the pond. Off in the distance
you can barely see a church.
Click the picture above for a larger
picture that has the church outlined. |

A spring-fed stream meanders past the house. |
 |

A studio/bunkhouse is 18' x 32', insulated and "electrified"
it has no indoor plumbing. It will probably house an art
studio in the near future. |

Here is another view of Buffalo River Retreat from another
angle in the yard and up the hill. It is in a park like
setting, with plenty of room for volleyball, badminton,
horse shoes etc. |
